Flutter By & Buttons

It's another Flutter By challenge girls! This week Danni challenged us to use a butterfly and buttons in our creation. I sat down to create a butterfly using my butterfly die and embellishing it with buttons. But my dear friend Jacquie sent me this incredible TreasurE of goodies and inside was a HUGE bag of buttons. As I was playing with them, I started laying them out in the shape of a butterfly and really liked the look.

I faux sewed them - using Rebecca's little tip from earlier this week on the big red buttons - and mounted them to my embossed oval.

I really wanted the focus to be on the butterfly so didn't add any other embellishments - not even ribbon! Just a simple stamped sentiment and this card was done!
