I've really been enjoying being a part of Danni's Flutter By team and coming up with new butterflies to use on a card. I've had these bling butterflies since last spring I think and found them in a drawer. Danni wanted us to use butterflies, buttons AND bling this week in our Flutter By card. Perfect, huh?If you've been reading my blog for long, you know that I am not a scrap saver. And if you're a new reader, just breathe! *grin* I do have little scraps that will hang out on my desk for awhile and if I don't use them after a week or so, then away they go! This little card was such a piece and I decided to use it. I'm not sure if it's the exact dimensions of a scrapling but it's close; it measures 1 7/8 x 4 3/4. I inked up my stamp (Happy Harmony set) using my Old Olive and Rose Red markers and double stamping in between inkings to get the faded images. The sheer organza ribbon was perfect as it adds a little touch but allows the image to show through as well. Some stacked buttons finish it off. I didn't add a sentiment yet as I'm not sure who will receive this card. But I could easily add one to the front of the inside.
