Good morning girls! Are you ready for Wednesday? That's my busy day here on the blog so this is the first of a few posts!! But you'll have to come back later to see the rest!

This is an exciting week over at the Cuttlebug Challenge as have have THE Valerie Salmon as our guest this week. She creates amazing sketches and designed one just for us!!

Last week one of our participants used the leaves folder and cut them out. I thought it was a totally awesome idea and did the same thing this week with my cardstock!! I did element one of the text boxes mainly because I couldn't figure out what to put there!! LOL!!

Here's a detail shot of my butterfly! Isn't he DIVINE? I just love him in that paper - and there is only a smidge of it left too! :( I sprayed him with Pearl Glimmer Mist but you can't see it in the photo.

Be sure to head over to the Cuttlebug Challenge to view the rest of the design team's creations and link over to their blogs! I'm headed that way myself to check them out!
And be sure to participate and link up your creation for! Valerie is going to select a winner on March 3rd from the entries, The winner will win a Free download from Got Craft.
Have a beautiful day and I'll be back this afternoon with my Flutter By card and my PPS card!

Chelly Twinkles Too

Hi girls! It's Tuesday and you know that means it's time for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays. Madelynn is 8 years old and loves to sketch while her mom Jessica stamps! Back in December she drew a card sketch and now she has her very own design team! Be sure to visit The Twinkle Blog to see our featured stamper this week - it's Jennifer who is one of my favorite people in the world! I mean, what's not to love about a gal with glitter in her hair? Be sure to stop by and leave her some love, okay?! And be sure to read all the way at the bottom for some VERY COOL news regarding our special guest at The Cuttlebug Challenge this week!

This week Madelynn sent us an Inspiration Challenge! Her mom loves coffee and this is a favorite mug.

I was completely inspired by the colors in the mug: cream, pink and green and that big, wonderful bow!

I also wanted to participate in the sketch challenge Katie issued over at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog. It was inspired by the very first card her mom made this week! I did flip it slightly as I thought my flower at the top was competing too much with the shamrock. It feels much more balanced this way.

I stamped Chelly on watercolor paper in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored her using my inkpads and a waterbrush. Don't you just love her puffy skirt and the bloomers underneath? The grass and posies were freehanded.

In the closeup you can see the stickles I added to her fairy wings and her fairy curl. She also has a little pink bling on her cheek because...well, she's a fairy and she can!! There are lots of new stamps coming out at the end of the week and Katie put them up for Pre-Order with a discount! But it only lasts until tomorrow so go on over and check them out! She even has the new nestabilities on the pre-order!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to visit the rest of the Twinkies to see how they were inspired by Jessica's coffee cup!
The Cuttlebug Challenge is so happy to announce our guest this week is THE VALERIE SALMON. She's known for her sketches and design work for Fiskars. She created a wonderful sketch for us this week and we can't wait to see how you use it! Valerie will be picking her favorite and the winner will receive a free subscription to her sketch blog/class: Got Sketch! Cool, huh? So be sure to come back tomorrow to see my take on it!

Chocolate Cures Everything!

Hey girls! I hope it's beautiful where you are today; the weather here has been just wonderful for the past few days!

Several years ago when I was teaching, we were at lunch one day and the discussion turned to chocolate and how much we loved it and what a great pick-me-up it was. Teaching 9th graders was a joy for the most part but definitely challenging!! LOL!! I still laugh when I think of that day! All women but one man - an older guy who loved to laugh and tell jokes and give us all a hard time. Phenomenal math teacher as well. Anyway, he was sitting quietly working and we were all talking and he got sooooo red b/c one of the gals mentioned that chocolate was a great aphrodisiac. And then when she noticed he was embarrassed she really exaggerated it. Oh, he tormented us every day so it was nice to be able to turn the tables for once!!

Anyway, I received 2 new Anyas in the mail on Friday and was anxious to get the sketch challenge that Marie has posted on The Greeting Farm blog done. It's a wonderful sketch and I know I'll use it again.
I made a get well card and knew that I was going to include some chocolate in the card for the recipient. I remembered that day at school and decided to look up the other health benefits of chocolate. I found links that said it was a good remedy for a cough (I'll try that next time I have one) and various other things. It's a well known fact in lots of my gal pals that dark chocolate is good for you. But I also found two cute signs regarding chocolate as well and had to share them. They are from the Olive Barn and there are lots of cute things over there!!

Since I knew my card was going to include chocolate I wanted to use brown in my color scheme. I thought about using pink and making Nurse Anya a candy-stripper. But then I found an awesome sheet of red label print paper. It reminded me slightly of vintage labels and I'm passing it off as a medicine label! I paper pieced her dress and hat and used copics for the coloring. She's a great nurse as she knows that chocolate milk and a big chocolate truffle are sure to make her patient feel better!
Thanks for stopping by today! I so appreciate it girl! I have a long list of stamping I want to get done today so be sure to check back - I don't know if I'll upload them all immediately or if I'll spread them out over the week. Plus a present to finish for my mom's birthday! Have a beautiful day, okay?

Meet Chelly

Hi girls! Have ya'll heard of Paper Makeup Stamps? It's a new stamp company and I just A.D.O.R.E. her images!! I've never been a real fairy fan but Katie's are so cute! I don't know what it is, but I liked them from the first moment I saw them! She also has some very cute monsters that will be coming to my house soon!

Katie issued her first challenge: to use PMS colors of pink and gray! That was right up my alley as I love this color combo!

I stamped Chelly in Chocolate Chip using my marker so I could leave off her shamrock and replace it with the flower. Her skirt is paper pieced and the rest of her is colored with my prismacolor pencils and baby oil.

If you haven't seen Paper Makeup Stamps, go browse her store! In addition to the monsters and the fairies, she also has several quote stamps and most of them come in two sizes - so they can be the focal point of a card or an accent. You should also come check out the group on PCP. OH - and one more thing --- stop by the Paper Makeup Blog and vote for one of the new fairies names. I'm rooting for Elle!!

Faux Leather with Fun Foam

Happy Friday girls! Are you so excited that the weekend is here? I have had a busy but great week and am looking forward to the weekend as well. I do have to work for a little bit on Saturday but hope to get some time to stamp too as there are several challenges that I want to participate in.

Today I was responsible for the tutorial over at The Cuttlebug Challenge. Please head over there and see it!! I'll wait for you to get back and show you my other example for today.

Hi again! I wanted to create a more masculine card to have on hand and for some reason the faux leather idea popped into my head the other morning as I was trying to catch a few more zzzz's. There are many variations on how to achieve this; here's a peek at what I came up with.

I started by running some light tan fun foam through my cuttlebug using the Paisley embossing folder. Then I took my Old Paper vintage ink pad and brushed it over the foam using the direct-to-paper method. I used a stipple brush to swirl on vintage photo covering most of the foam. I finished by adding Walnut Ink by pouncing it in just a few places as a highlight. Here it is all finished:

Since it was a masculine card, I wanted to keep it very simple. I stamped the cowboy image using Memento Brown directly on the fun foam. Some red string and a button to add some interest at the bottom and it was finished. I glued the fun foam panel to my red base using Tombow Mono Glue - in the bottle with the green cap.

View from a different angle. I hope you can see the texture. It's sooo cool looking in real life!!

And some close up shots.
That's it for me today! I am so thrilled that you stopped by. Let me know what you think of the embossing on fun foam. And if you try, please let me know where to find it as I'd love to see what you create!
Have a beautiful weekend! I hope to be popping back on here with some challenge cards!

Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge 19: Emboss Acetate BONUS

Hi girls!! Can you believe it's Wednesday already? I was really excited about our challenge this week over at The Cuttlebug Challenge blog. Embossing acetate has been on my "want to try" list. I wanted to make something that could be a gift/decor item and am totally in love with what I came up with!
I combined my Cuttlebug Challenge with this weeks Flutter By challenge where we were to use blues and purples in our card.

I cut my acetate down to fit in my folder and then ran it through using the Leafy Branch folder. I used a Baja Breeze scrap stamped with some text in Baja Breeze and some purple patterned paper from a DCWV mat stack to punch out some butterflies. I bent up the wings and placed them on my plaque using glue dots and accenting with pearls. The bottom trim was created with my Stampin Up scallop punch and then accented with pearls as well.

Here's a shot of it hanging on my wall:

I punched two holes in the top with my CropADile and set some eyelets in for reinforcement. The ribbon is actually some vintage seam binding I picked up at an estate sale.

Be sure to visit The Cuttlebug Challenge blog to see the rest of the design team cards and then visit them to leave them some love. We'd love to have you participate as well, so use the Mr Linky widget on the blog to let us know where to view your card!

And don't forget about the rest of the FlutterBy girls either! Their links are over in my sidebar and I know they'd be thrilled to have you stop by for a visit!!

Hello my friends!

I know it's Tuesday and you've probably been sitting on the edge of your seats all day waiting for my Twinkling Tuesday card to appear. Ha!! It's my blog ---- I can have my fantasy!! LOL!!

I don't have it. Again. Silly because this week's sketch was SUPER!!! It's suuuuuuch a good sketch and as soon as I got it I had several ideas of what I wanted to do. I finally decided last night and had a few spare moments to work on it today. Some of the attempts are in the trash can. The others are scattered on my desk, hoping to be salvaged before they too meet that big round can. Or rounded rectangle can.

And, I doubt that it'll appear anywhere close to this blog in the foreseeable future. I just deleted all the stuff I typed b/c it sounded like whining and I can't stand whining. I won't let the little man get away with it so I won't let me either!!

I do hope you've checked out the rest of the team - links are over there - I'd grab them for you but I'm sooo super tired. And I think all the headaches I've been having lately might have something to do with not getting enough sleep. I've made it through about half the list so far and they are of course, FANTASTIC!!! Janna is the featured Twinkie this week so be sure and stop by her blog - her Hanna card is aaaamazing!!

Thanks for dropping by - at least my Wednesday post has been scheduled all week or there would be nothing to share with you!!!

ETA: The whole reason I even got on here was to post about the incredible stampavie giveaway that Jessica has on her blog. I'd love to win it but I have to let you know about it too! So GO TO THIS POST and see how you can win too - but do it quick b/c time's almost up!!

My Dear Friend

Hi girls!! I'm so glad you came by today! Or tomorrow as it will probably be Tuesday when most of you stop by! *grin* I know it's late but I've been wanting to get a card done for the Inspirational Card Sketches. It was started by Dawn, one of my SBS3 pals. She has a style totally different from mine so I always love to see what she's created! You can see the sketch HERE. I tend to shy away from those sketches that have circles but I was really glad I tried this out. And I am really happy with how it came out! I used some Basic Grey patterned paper - I used some on another card a few weeks ago and hung on to it - are you proud? I am impressed that I haven't tossed it yet.

Hubby wants to watch a movie so I'm making this short and sweet! See you tomorrow for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday!

Ooopsie

I was working on my post for Wednesday and am talking to my sister at the same time and hit the wrong button. So.......hopefully I got it pulled off before it went to all the readers and such!

Come back tomorrow though for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday sketch - oh, my! It's just awesome!!!

Cuttlebug Be Inspired Challenge 18: Shaped Cards

Hi Girls!! Oh, I've missed you!! Have you missed me? Lie and just say yes!!! Had such a wonderful time at my in-laws. My SIL cranked out these gorgeous crocheted flowers - like 29 of them in all for shower favors. I stamped and embossed some little cards to mount them on. They looked so pretty on the table and I think everyone loved them. I know I love the 2 I brought home! My MIL took care of the other details like cake and punch and flowers. I am really glad that we made the effort to throw the shower for my other SIL. It won't be long until I'll have a nephew - well, I already have a nephew and niece but this is one that I'll know from the time he's born! Anyway, you know what I mean, right???? He'll be a gift from God - aren't they all???

I didn't get much stamping done in the last week and so it's nice to be home and back at it. The first project I worked on was this weeks Cuttlebug Be Inspired #18 Challenge. We were to create a shaped card this week. When I sat down at my desk, I had lots of ideas: heart, flower, baby bottle and then I spied little miss Anya was peeking out at me. I had another digi Dorothy Anya printed off and thought I would use her. Since I spent part of my time in Kansas and saw lots of "Dorothy" and "Wizard of Oz" references at the travel stop, I was inspired to pick her up.

I used a Summer Sun base cut to 4 3/8 x 9 that I then ran through the Houndstooth embossing folder in my Cuttlebug machine. Using a sponge, I aged it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then with a Gold Encore pad. I also trimmed it to resemble a rambling, curvy road. Miss Anya and Toto were colored with my Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I created my own sentiment and mounted it with my Curly Label punch from Stampin Up! Cherry Red glitter was added to her slippers and the edge of the punch. I hope you enjoy it!

Be sure to stop by the Cuttlebug Challenge blog and see the creations from the rest of the team!

I'll be working on slowly catching up with visiting each of you this week as well. Thanks for coming by today! I so enjoyed getting to spend some time with you! If you participate in any of these challenges, be sure to let me know as I'd love to visit and see what you created!

Have a beautiful day girls!!

Butterfly Harmony

I've really been enjoying being a part of Danni's Flutter By team and coming up with new butterflies to use on a card. I've had these bling butterflies since last spring I think and found them in a drawer. Danni wanted us to use butterflies, buttons AND bling this week in our Flutter By card. Perfect, huh?

If you've been reading my blog for long, you know that I am not a scrap saver. And if you're a new reader, just breathe! *grin* I do have little scraps that will hang out on my desk for awhile and if I don't use them after a week or so, then away they go! This little card was such a piece and I decided to use it. I'm not sure if it's the exact dimensions of a scrapling but it's close; it measures 1 7/8 x 4 3/4. I inked up my stamp (Happy Harmony set) using my Old Olive and Rose Red markers and double stamping in between inkings to get the faded images. The sheer organza ribbon was perfect as it adds a little touch but allows the image to show through as well. Some stacked buttons finish it off. I didn't add a sentiment yet as I'm not sure who will receive this card. But I could easily add one to the front of the inside.

Be sure to visit the rest of the Flutter By girls. Danni is featuring the first Guest Flutter By so be sure to stop by there and leave her some love!! ETA: SQUEAL!!! It's Jessica, the sweet gal over at The Whimsical Butterfly!!!

Growing in God's Love

Good morning girls!! It's Wednesday and I am actually getting all my posts for today typed well before Wednesday debuts. It's a busy day here on the blog so I hope you've got your coffee, tea or soda of choice. Curl up and sit a spell won't you?

First up is the challenge for Pink Papery Studios. This week's challenge was issued by Jennifer and she suggested we use pink bling in honor of Valentine's day. We get bonus points for using the bling on a notebook or journal to highlight all the things we love, a great suggestion from Amy. When I was in college, I kept a quote journal and still have it on my bookshelf. Love is a direct gift from God and one of the desires of my heart in 2009 is to really make scripture a part of my soul, memorizing it more and keeping it close to my heart. So I thought a journal to record all the scriptures that speak to me would be a great gift to myself!

Amy recently sent us all a package of goodies and I was so excited to get home on Sunday and actually get mine!! I'd been hearing the whole time I was gone about all the goodies inside!! One of them was this cute little journal. It feels like a canvas or a linen. Heres' the back:

Also included in our package was several bottles of Shimmer It paint. I uses Promising to cover the base of my journal and Peaceful to cover a piece of watercolor paper. Peaceful is the prettiest blue color. I used 2 coats on my paper and it's still very sheer, with just a hint of blue. I stamped the tree from Owl Be Green (Cocoa Studio) in Chocolate Chip and then ran the panel through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. The edges are scalloped with my border punch from Stampin Up! I used some bling flowers in place of the leaves on my tree and free-handed some grass using Moss Petal Shimmer It. I generated my own sentiment and finished it off with some ribbon!

Here's a shot to show all the shimmer and sparkle. Isn't it lovely?

I am working on the His Holy Name challenge that Patter Cross is doing (link in my sidebar) and she also has a Scripture Challenge. There is also the Divine Design challenge. While I don't know if I'll get a "project" created every week for these, I do want to study God's word and keep it close to my heart. I think this journal is a perfect way to do that!
Stay tuned for my Flutter By card and my Cuttlebug Challenge card too!

My Heart Twinkles

Hi girls!! Are you having a great Tuesday so far? Ours has been wonderful so far! I have my card for this week's Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays sketch challenge. And, oh, what a challenge it was. I've been putting it off ever since I got home Sunday afternoon. This week is very exciting as we have our first Temporary Twinkie this week. Heather is one of the DT gals and her daughter Piper created this week's sketch for us. Check it out!

If I remember correctly, she is 6!! Incredible huh? She loves to watch her mom make cards and particularly loved the off-set corner roundings so we were asked to please be sure to not change that little element. I started going through a box of stamps, just grabbing ones to see if I could be inspired. Most of them were too big but this little one caught my eye. It's just a Studio G stamp I picked up at Michael's for $1. I figured it would be the perfect size and it would be fun to use a journaling stamp on a card instead of a scrapbook page.

Yep. Still on the "{heart} you" phase. Here is the rest of my card. I kept it pretty flat, only popping up the center image as I'm going to mail this to my Grandma.

Kinda an untraditional color scheme but at first I thought it might be my little man's Valentine. Either way I think my Grandma will enjoy it!
Please be sure to stop by and see all the other creations the Twinkle Team put together for this week. I'm off to check them out myself real quick! You can find the official blog with the sketch and this week's featured Twinkie! Upload your creation there too so we can all see it. If you upload to SCS or PCP please use the keyword: MTTSC9. And here's the rest of the team:
Bonnie
Christi
Danni
Debbie
Heather Definitely visit her and leave a little note for Piper!!
Jacquie
Jami
Janna
Jen
Jessica
Kim
Kimmie
Rebecca
Sandra
Taylor

That's it for me today! I'm off to check out the rest of the team and then I have to go create my ATC's for my local stamp club tonight. The theme is the Elements: Earth, Fire, Water or Wind. Totally stumped on what to do. If I come up with something great I'll share it here with you later in the week. Come back tomorrow as it's Wednesday and you know that's Triple Post Day!

Wednesday, February 4, 2009

{hi} friends!

Hi again! Are you having a great day? When this posts, I'll be in the car, hopefully with a calm little man. The last time he got in my BIL's car he screamed bloody murder. If you pray, please pray for a calm little man on Wednesday.
Today is a special Wednesday for me because it's my first post as a member of Danni's Flutter By Wednesdays. Danni loves butterflies and she loves making cards so every Wednesday she creates cards with butterflies. I've been getting to know her over the past few months and she is a dear friend. The computer seems to shrink miles and there are times when I forget that I can't just "get together" with all my stamping friends. Hopefully though Danni and I will be able to visit face-to-face someday soon! She emailed me last week and asked me to join her team. I was sooo honored and am thrilled to get to work with this bunch of girls! {hi girls! - i've been super busy but i promise i'll be back in a week and it'll be more normal and i'll be around visiting and getting to know ya'll better}. I did tell Danni that I don't have a ton of butterfly stamps/punches so if she was okay seeing the same ones over and over, I would be thrilled to join!

I made this card right after I made my Anya card posted yesterday. I spent forever on that card and my brain needed something quick and easy. Even though this came together in no time at all, I still l.o.v.e. it!! I embossed the base of my card with Swiss Dots (anybody surprised?). The butterfly is actually this stamp:

Yep - a leaf! I just inked it carefully so as not to catch the stem. His path is pierced and it totally becomes believable. Be sure to stop by the rest of the girl's blogs and leave them some love! I can't wait to see what they've come up with this week!
Thanks for stopping by today! Since I won't be stamping any the rest of the week (and won't have housework either), I should have some time to visit all of you. Can't wait to see what everyone has been up to! Have a beautiful day! Oh - and if you haven't seen the Mom tip for today - oh my goodness. SUCH a good one!

Pomegranate Valentini

Hi girls! It's Tuesday night and I'm scheduling my posts for tomorrow. I am sooo tired and ready for bed. And soooo thankful that I don't have to drive tomorrow. I do hope it's a pleasant drive for the little man. Since it's Wednesday, I have lots of cards to share with you today; normally it's 3 but I checked the Cuttlebug Challenge assignment (create a "love" card/project) for this week and saw that I could easily combine it with the Pink Papery Studios challenge (a sketch by our very own Valerie with bonus points for using the colors red, black and white).

Isn't it a great sketch? I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the hearts background (I just inserted my folded card into the folder and both the front and back of my card are embossed. Cool huh?) I also used the green machine to cut out the image and the scalloped mat using my Nestabilities. The image is one of the new Valentine digital images from Pink Papery Studios. It's only $2.00 and you'll get it instantly to your computer - talk about instant gratification!! You can find it plus all the other images HERE. I colored it with markers, ink and blender pen and a silver gel pen. I also used my Pixie Shimmer It to add sparkle to the 'tini part and also all along the red scalloped mat. It's really sparkly in real life! Three red gems and a pretty red bow finish it off.

Be sure to check out all the other PPS girls blogs today too! Lindsay is offering blog candy so definitely stop by and see her. We'd love to see what card you create with this sketch and or the colors of red, black and white. Load it up at PCP or SCS using the keyword: pinkpaperystudios so we can all check it out!!

THANK YOU for making it such a fun weekend!! Boy, are there some awesome exciting things that are going to be happening over there in the coming months!! You won't want to miss it so head over and follow the blog or subscribe or add it to your reader!!

Have a Wonderful, Beautiful Wednesday!! I am so excited to go see my in-laws and spend some time up there. Saturday we have a baby shower for my SIL and that should be lots of fun too - you know how I LOVE to make baby cards!! Well, gotta type one more post and then go pack. I did not get other projects photographed to share so I will just see ya'll back here next week!!

**I'm so tired I JUST realized I was writing this to post on the PPS DT blog - ugh! Really glad I caught it before I shut down!

I'm finally Twinkling Today!

Hi girls! I hope you are having a great Tuesday so far! Today Denny's offered a free grand slam breakfast to anyone in America. So cool! I love to go out for breakfast and it was sooo yummy today. Packed of course. The first one was a 30 min wait so I decided to head to the one across town as I needed to run an errand over there anyway. The wait was much shorter and the little man and I had a yummy breakfast. He ate 2 whole pancakes - I couldn't believe it!! Did any of you go and enjoy Denny's generosity?

But you didn't come to hear me talk about food did you? Today is a very special Tuesday for the Twinkle Team. Jessica, mom to our 8 year old sketch artist Madelynn is celebrating her 1 year blog anniversary!! Happy Anniversary Jess! Be sure to stop by her place, The Whimsical Butterfly as she has some blog candy up that is wonderful - and full of some of her favorite things!! Second we are debuting Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays blog!! That's right, a special place for you to check out each week's sketch and then link up your creation using the sketch so that all the Twinklettes can come round and see it!! Visiting is so much part of the fun, so please bookmark it, follow it, whatever and then play along!! And last, but not least, we have a new Twinklette in our group - the divine Heather Schlatter!! Such a sweetheart!! {hi heather!} So glad you're a Twinklette now!! Didn't Madelynn create a fantastic sketch this week!?!?! LOVE IT GIRL!!!

I have to tell you that this card just took on a mind of it's own and kept getting more. and then more. and then MORE. It took forever to create. One minute I adore it. The next I think it's horrible as I "puked it all up" (phrase some of the Twinklette's use). Then I love it again.
I bought Dorothy Anya as a digital download a few weeks ago but never got around to using her. Poor Anya, I love ya girl!! So I knew I wanted to use her (honestly, I was reaching for Bella Blossom but thought I probably shouldn't use it *AGAIN*). If I had a little girl, you know I'd be hunting down a cute little pink and black pinafore just like Anya's. Heck, I'd hunt one down for me if I thought I could get away with it!! LOL!!
She is colored with markers. I used Copics on her hair. I own 5 copics: gray, blender and then 3 shades of brown. How did I do? (see her pearl barrette? told you this card just kept going!!). I almost used this card as an excuse to go get some oval nesties; but decided to use my Creative Memories cutter system instead. And the pink edging - well....that's a Martha Stewart punch that has been altered (mutilated?) into an oval border. Take a close look and see all the little pearls in the spaces. That's what started it all. From there, the pearls just kinda kept jumping onto the card! I did leave off the sentiment (sorry Madelynn) as I just couldn't seem to get it to fit. My Anya ended up taking up a lot more space than I originally intended. I should've stuck with a 5 1/2" square card instead of using a 5" one.
And here's a detail shot of Anya's sweet puppy. He's been flocked in Teddy Bear Tan and Black Fun Flock. If I thought this house could handle one more dog, I'd get one of those cute little teacup terriers. Isn't he just the sweetest!! *FYI: My pink is Pretty in Pink. I've really been fighting the lighting on this card.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Twinklettes did for this week's sketch. I'm off to visit them all myself!!
I'll be back tomorrow with my PPS card and my FlutterBy card. I totally goofed and forgot that we changed the deadline for our Cuttlebug Challenge cards so I didn't make one for this week. {hanging my head}. I'm also leaving town so don't know how much I'll be around until next week. I might *MIGHT* get some stuff photographed to share with you while I'm gone. But I still need to do some laundry and all that jazz that goes with preparing to leave.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - I can't wait to hear what you think of today's card. Is it wonderful? Or over-done? Be honest!! And I'll be "seeing ya'll soon!!"

{heart} YOU banner

Hi girls! How are you?? I've missed ya'll the last few days. I know I've been MIA - not only here but in visiting you too. Hope to rectify that in the next few days. But oh, have I been busy!! Most of what I've been working on I can't share yet. However, one of my projects has been posted.
Here's a little peak:

This is part of the garland/banner that I created for the Cuttlebug Challenge LUV BUG Event. What a weekend: fun, prizes and the most A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. projects and inspirations ever! My mind is spinning!! I do hope you'll take a little trip over there and see it! I just love looking at it every time I head down my hallway! I'd love to know what you think!

I will have my card up for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday tomorrow - although probably in the afternoon so be sure to stop back by!!
