Twinking Tuesday 17: In with the Old

Hi everyone!! I have my Twinkling Tuesday card ready to post finally. But before I get to that, I would like to take a moment and share some little bits of info with you:

1. Monsters are on sale for 50% off today over at Paper Makeup. It's a Super Tuesday sale so if you've been eyeing them, today is a great day to pick them up.

2. Grab your calendar and mark down the next Cuttlebug Challenge event. You don't want to miss it. If you caught our "Luv Bug" event back in February, you know how great that one was. This one is going to top it!! See details below:

That's right - we are giving away over $1,000 in prizes.

Okay, back to Twinkling Tuesday!! This week we were given the challenge: "In with the Old" to use a stamp we had never used before. I would like to say that was a difficult assignment. But, it wasn't: the hard part was deciding which stamp to use!! Can you relate?

I have had this image from Little Paper Shop printed off for a few weeks and decided that she was going to be the lucky stamp to receive some love today. This line of digi stamps are adorable in my opinion. I love their cute little faces. I saw that there are some new ones available now that I am sure will be coming home to my laptop soon!
Last week on the Cuttlebug Challenge blog we paired up with Sheetload to launch their April issue. I loved working with the sketch last week and decided to use it again today. I colored my image with Prismascolors and baby oil. The patterned paper was a bit of scrap left over from a Ten Second Studio class I took on Saturday.
You should try out the sketch this month - there are great prizes at stake.
1. Link your card up by tonight at Cuttlebug Challenge for the chance to win clear and frosted card blanks from Shortcuts.
2. Link your card up at Sheetload for the chance to win one of two sets from The Greeting Farm. I'm going to win one set and it would be sooo cool if you won the second set! (I believe in positive thinking! *grin*)
We would love to see you participate in this week's Twinkling Tuesday challenge. If you do, please use keyword MTTSC17 when uploading at SCS or PCP so we can see them! Stop by the rest of the Twinklettes to see what neglected stamp they used this week!
ETA: Don't forget Heather - of The Best in Life - she is a new addition to our team! I'm so glad she's finally joined us as she is mega talented!!

What a fabulous card! You really did a superb job of coloring your image. Love the sketch. I hope to join you in May for the spa retreat. I really could use a new Bug, mine is on its last legs -- I keep having to add more shims to cut or get an impression -- I'd love to win a new replacement!

She's adorable, Cassie! Her skin tone is great. What color did you use for that?

I just used these same papers on some cards, but yours look so bright and cheery! Isn't it amazing how the same papers can make totally different impressions?

So sweet Cassie! Perfect card for the "April showers bring May flowers" saying. I love the little raindrops. Great colors - and great coloring of course.

If the challene was to use a stamp that was unused then I goofed! *sigh* I haven't tried digistamps yet bc until a couple days ago, my printer didn't work! But dh just brought home a new one! Cheap ink too! Digi patterned papers, come to mama! Very cute card. Are you ever going to add email subscriptions? Not RSS feeds, you have those. I rarely visit blogs unless I get an email to remind me and I feel bad I don't read yours more!
