Twinkling Tuesday: Yippee!

Good morning everyone!! Or maybe I should say Good Afternoon!! I'm sorry this is late getting up. I was out of town last night for a lia sophia meeting and thought I would be home around 11! HA! Pulled up a little after 2 am and just fell into bed after peeking in on my little man.

This week we have a Temporary Twinkie - Kimmie's son Nicky offered us a color challenge! Blue, Purple and Orange were the colors he picked. Now I think these colors look great together! But it was a challenge for me as I don't typically use these colors much!!

I also have a sneak peek of a new 2RedBananas stamp set to share with you today! This is the Week of Peeks for the Banana Bunch so you'll be seeing lots of these new sets this from everyone! And WOW!! There are a bunch of them!!

I chose to use one of the graduation themed sets today. You can see in my little man's card the frog with his graduation cap!

If you look carefully anyway - he really went to town on coloring!! Even though this is a graduation set, it can be used in other ways too and that's what I wanted to try to achieve today.
I masked off the bit with the hat and just stamped the frog. The "yippee" sentiment is included in the set and is a great way to let someone know they did a terrific job at any time of the year. I also think this would be super adorable with the sentiment "love you THIS much!" I have another idea for this cute frog too that I'll have to work on executing to share with you later!
Be sure to visit the rest of the Twinklettes and see how they used these 3 colors today. We'd love to see YOUR creation too! Just use keyword MTTSC22 when uploading at SCS/PCP and leave a link over at the Twinkling Tuesday blog!
And take a moment to visit the Banana Bunch too and see some sneak peeks of the other sets being released this month!
Thanks for coming by today! Have a beautiful one!!

Your card is adorable and so is your little man's. Nicky's card looks something like that as well! LoL. But he wouldn't let go of it for me to scan.

Heheh! Two fabulous frog cards! :) I love the idea of omitting the grad hat...it opens up all kinds of options for this froggie fella!

I love your card. The coloring of the frog is excellent. When I got my set I actually cut the hat, dotted line and frog apart from each other. I figure I can put them both together on the acrylic block if I want them in the original configuration.
