Crumpled Background

Hello girls! I have a card today for both the FlutterBy Challenge and The Diedrich Dare. Madelynn gave a great sketch and butterflies usually make any card terrific.

But I think this might be the worst card I've ever made. I think it's that pink cardstock. It's from a pack I picked up on sale at a store. HORRIBLE!!!! UGH!!!

At stamp club last night, one of the girls showed how to make several different backgrounds. This was one of them and I wanted to utilize it right away. You just crumple, smear ink, repeat.

Take a moment and swing by to see the rest of the Daredevil crew! Here's a list of who is playing this week:
And you can't forget the FlutterBy girls either!!!

I do love that background technique Cassie! Very cool textural look to it. Maybe if you cut back the pink cs and mounted it on some white cs, it might not look so PINK! LOL (Don't worry, I have cards like these ALL THE TIME! They're always salvageable.) (((hugs)))

That's a cool technique Cassie! I thought it was decorative paper. I'll have to try it. Great job on the sketch. It's nice to see something spring-y...I did the fall theme, which is nice, but I kind of wish we were going into spring again since I dread winter. Great work!
